WHAT A WEEK! While I feel that my life is normally quite busy, this week took “busy” to a whole other level! I am slowly coming down off the high from playoffs, parties, playdates and more, and I am looking forward to a weekend with my family and celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday at a family pool party!

Yup, that’s me and my heavily bearded hubby holding the coveted Stanley Cup only hours after they clinched the title of Stanley Cup Champions on Monday evening. What a team! What a series! What a game!! My hard-working and highly dedicated husband has worked for AEG and the Kings organization for almost 13 years! So, watching the team he loves so much win the Stanley Cup for the first time in the team’s 45-year history was a moment that I will never forget!
I am so grateful for being included in all of the team’s Stanley Cup celebrations this week and will always remember this moment in Los Angeles Kings’ history!
The players, coaches, owners, and dedicated staff are so deserving of their incredible win! While the Kings barely scraped their way into playoffs as the 8th seeded team, no one can deny the true talent in this organization now. Congrats to everyone! GO KINGS GO!!!!!

I didn’t think there was such a thing as comfortable, flattering black pants. I had pretty much given up on this concept until I tried on these amazing black skinny jeans by Citizen of Humanity. They are not inexpensive (about $178), but if you are looking for a pair of pants that will make you feel sexy and look amazing, they are worth every penny!

I am a huge fan of gel nail polish. HUGE! I love that it stays on for 2+ weeks without chipping or peeling no matter how many times you wash your hands or diapers you change! I only wish I had invented it myself!
I enjoy trying new nail polish colors, and I am loving this popular, new trend of painting the ring finger nail a different color. If you want to try this trend, but want to be a bit more conservative, try simply adding glitter in the color of your polish on top of the ring finger nail. This makes the nail color blend in with the other fingers, while giving your nails an edgy look!
Fifty Shades of Grey

I know. I know. This “favorite” isn’t that unique considering so many people are reading Fifty Shades of Grey, but I really am loving the Fifty Shades series. I am not saying that the books are the most realistic, well-written pieces of literature I have ever read, but they sure are FUN! I breezed through the first book in no time flat and am onto the second book in the series, Fifty Shades Darker.
