{Series} Kimberly’s Friday Favorites

Summer is in full swing and we are enjoying all it’s benefits including frequent beach days, extra hours of sunlight, swimming, seeing friends, summer camp, staying in our jammies past 8am, and a break from the routine during the school year. While the kids and I have had done LOTS of fun activities off of our bucket list already this summer, having them out of school has made it much more challenging to be productive with…uh…everything! Add in the fact that my computer and Internet were both broken for nearly a week and a half AND the fact that we were potty-training our little dude and you can imagine my lack of progress. However, rather than beat myself up for falling behind on all my to-do’s, I am choosing to embrace the reduced efficiency of summer and go with the flow. As my dad always says, if you have no choice, you have no problem! So, I am going with the flow!

Here are some of my favorites this week! They have kept me smiling during my technological meltdown and challenging potty training moments! I hope you enjoy them!

Magnatiles

These are my little dude’s FAVORITE THING in the world right now. He is completely obsessed with them! These colorful magnetic tiles teach spatial relationships, math, logic, and problem-solving through creative building! They connect on every end and have provided hours of fun in our house! Oil of Olay Brush

I recently started using this Olay ProX facial cleansing brush by Oil of Olay and I am completely addicted. This brush feels amazing, exfoliates to remove dry and dead skin and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. I tend to have acne-prone skin, but since I’ve starting using the Olay Prox brush my skin has been clear! Similar to the Clairisonic Pro brush that retails for around $175+, this little gem sells on Amazon for just over $20!!

Paper Straws

I picked up a box of paper straws a few weeks ago and I have fallen in love with them. Sipping a cool drink out of a chic paper straw seems to make everything taste more refreshing. These fun beverage additions come in a wide variety of colors and are eco-friendly! Check them out!
