Decorating pumpkins is an annual traditions around Halloween time that is enjoyed by countless families. Whether you like to carve a traditional jack-o-latern face, spooky scene or other ghoulish monster in your pumpkins, I think you will love this twist on pumpkin adorning!
I always enjoy buying pumpkins to use as part of my home decor and table scape during the Fall months. I keep them out from October 1st until after Thanksgiving. I usually refrain from carving these pumpkins because doing so causes them to rot before I have had the chance to fully enjoy them. This year, rather than leave them completely plain, I decided to give them a little pizzazz.
Here’s what I came up with:
Aren’t they pretty? They look amazing around my house and my kids think they are so much fun!
Here are some other creations:
These little pumpkins were super simple and inexpensive to make and they make a BIG addition to our spirited Fall decor. Aside from being pretty and sparkly, the pumpkins with rhinestones will last through the Fall season and will be fun additions to my Thanksgiving decor!
Here is what you will need to create pumpkins with pizzazz:
- Pumpkins of any shape, size or color of your choosing
- Rhinestones, jewels, googles eyes, etc.
- A hot glue gun and extra glue sticks
Instructions:
- Use hot glue gun to attached your decorative objects to your pumpkins.
- Experiment with different colors, sizes and types of decorations!

That does look like so much fun and also less dangerous than carving pumpkins. Mine always look awful, I’m just not very crafty. (Unless it’s in getting my way).
haha that’s a cute idea! Especially for someone like me that is scared of knives.
