Sandpipers’ 20th Annual Holiday Homes Tour will be November 30th, December 1st and 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. This year’s tour includes four distinctive homes in Manhattan and Hermosa Beach including the “Green Idea House” as a bonus home on Saturday and Sunday only. Each home will be beautifully decorated for the holidays by local designers and retailers.
332 10th Street, Manhattan Beach CA
This beautiful Spanish villa style home is located on a quiet and exclusive walk street, just steps from the beach and downtown Manhattan Beach. The exquisite tri-story residence was custom designed in 2000 by Jan Bartosik and built by Matt Morris Development to capture the essence of Spain’s coastal living. The home features 4,894 square feet, with 4 very spacious bedrooms plus an office, 4 baths and 2 unique powder rooms. The home includes venetian plaster walls, unique ceiling accents, antiqued travertine tile floors, Brazilian cherry cabinetry, 4 fireplaces, and wine cellar. At 5,000 square feet, this beautiful home has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, three living rooms, and a two car

The comprehensive renovation was completed with a painstaking focus on green design, featuring sustainable and recycled materials, solar panels, a thermal mass heating system and all electric appliances. Despite increasing the size of the house by almost 65%, the renovation achieved the goal of becoming a net zero energy and zero carbon residence, and was named a Southern California Edison case study for zero net energy consumption. The home has since won numerous awards and is widely celebrated for its pioneering ideas in green design.
