Hi! I’m Kimberly and I’m “F-I-R-E-D UP” about participating in this blog! Can you tell I was a cheerleader in high school? I have been known to wear many hats including mother, wife, teacher, advertising account executive, and event planner. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Communication. After graduation, I worked as an advertising account executive, and then made the big decision to pursue a career as a teacher. I taught 5th grade at a wonderful school before settling into my life as a Mommy.
I am married to my “one,” who I met through friends 12 years ago, and am a mother of a super girly 4-year old girl and a vehicle-loving 2-year old boy.
I grew up in the South Bay, “on the hill” to be specific (aka Palos Verdes). I left the area a few times, but I keep ending up back here. I like everything about the South Bay, and now that we have kids, we are planning to stay here – forever!!
I am a dabbler. You know … a little ‘a this and a little ‘a that. I seek out things I find inspiring and incorporate them into my life. I revel in them and enjoy them. I passionately share them with the people I love and then am astounded when I am inspired by the next thing. It’s like falling in love all over again!
But, no matter what I am currently “into,” the two things that I am ALWAYS passionate about are:
- My family (immediate & extended)
- My friends.
My ultimate happiness is spending time with them together. It’s my happy place.
